<p>I didn't need any extra prep. Easy 5 + easier 800.</p>
<p>Even if you don't prepare with regards to material, make sure you take a couple of practice tests (Collegeboard actually releases a book with 2 practice tests for U.S. History) to get a feel for the test.</p>
<p>Jst read the AP review book before the test and take a couple practice SAT's.</p>
<p>And as the year goes along, read the textbook. There is NOTHING more important than that in a history class.</p>
<p>Yeah, definitely keep up in class and make sure you dont get behind.
Study with an AP prep book throughout the year...just read it or something.</p>
<p>I really liked Kaplan for the SAT II US History (in case you're looking for a prep book..)
It's reallllly not necessary though if you study for the AP exam..I just needed something else to review since I took it in June and it did a good job refreshing my memory and getting straight to the point on some stuff I didn't know before.</p>
