SAT IIs for Vandy

<p>on the website it says they require 2 sat IIs and one of them should be Math 2c......... I really hate math........ did any of guys not take the math iic test but still get into vandy anyway? do you guys think it would be best if i took it anyway? i was planning to take hist/literature.</p>

<p>also do you know which one has a higher acceptance rate? ED I or ED II. i wanted to ED I vandy but i found another school that i really really like and i realized that vandy had a ED II thing. if going ED II is going to lower my chances of getting into vanderbilt, i am definitely just gonna forget the other school and go ED I to vandy. thanks guys~</p>

<p>This may not help you, but I took Math2 and UShist. I only got a 670 on math, but go accepted RD.</p>

<p>I would suggest sending 3 tests. The two you wanted to take and think you'll do well on. And the math2 test.</p>

<p>Well...I didn't take SAT IIs and I got in RD. Except now I have to take them during SAOP. ha.</p>

<p>I only took the SAT II math level 2...no other sat 2s...I got in ED1. I talked to the admissions office, and they said that it makes no difference whether or not you apply ed1 or ed2...you will get the same increased chances either way...the use ED to lock you in and keep their ratings up...that is why you have a better chance ED...you are guaranteed to go their and keep their matriculation rate high. So, either way (ed1 or 2) you are bound to go to vandy if you get in...it doesn't make a difference in preference.</p>

<p>SAT 2s are not required but if you submit them they will be considered. They may be used later for placement if you've taken them.</p>

<p>ED 1 and ED2 admittance rates are approximately the same according to the admissions office.</p>
