I have a 33 ACT w/ writing Score (which I’m retaking in a week), but I’ve taken SAT IIs for other schools I’m considering applying to. So far, my only good one is a 740 on the Lit test, but I’m retaking it in October, and I’m planning on applying ED to Brown. Should I send in the Lit score/the additional scores from October, or should I skip it because it isn’t required? Will it hurt my application? Also, I’m from Oklahoma, and I know we have lower test averages (hello, PSAT), but I don’t know if that’ll affect the evaluation of my scores. Thanks!

740 is good for Lit, I would send. Don’t retake that. I don’t think your scores are look at any different because of your state. But maybe they don’t get too many applicants from your state and that can be good.

I agree, the 740 is good. My son who will be starting at Brown this fall had a 740 on his Math Sat 2. He did achieve better scores on later tests by studying more. Good luck!!!
