how much does yale look at sat iis?
i know that there are obviously many factors to college admission, but my mediocre sat iis are my biggest worry.

730 bio, 740 chem, 740 world history.

i am retaking chem, taking iic, and possibly world over.
but as of right now, are my scores too low for yale?

i hope they are not too low. i dont think they are. mine arent very different.

800 math II
740 us history
740 bio
670 chem.

It seems that Yale doesn't care much about SAT scores (there is an entire message board on people who got in despite low scores on the Yale 2011 message board), but, obviously, it is an advantage to have high tallies.

In all honesty, I think that this website conflates "What you need" to get into Yale. Get good grades, get reasonably good scores, have passion, humanity, and be honest--and you put yourself in a good position.

hey I don't think u should take them over.. I mean those are not bad scores.. come on!...

i got into harvard early with a 740/790/800. i retook the 740 and actually got 730 (lol)!!! personally, i would say that subject tests are worth less than SAT I

My son was admitted early with 770, 760, 740 and 730 on his SAT IIs. I think you should spend your time on your essays -- your scores are fine/
