SAT January 2012 - Math

If you got one wrong, your raw score would be 52.75, which would round up to 53.

@nynjal i want to see!

@pink and everyone

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1281756-math-section-compiled-answers.html

wasnt the one where you had two given coordinates and you had to find one that was on the same line (6,3)…if i remember the question correctly…wasnt the slpe 1/2 ?

Was the section with the trend of numbers and it asked which week was equal to the median, experimental?

The possibilities for the ABCDE one is only 2. Did you guys not finish reading the question? It was C and E can’t be in the first position. I was talking about this with my friend and it looks like people overlooked that part of the question…

*they can’t be in the first and fifth

What did u guys put for a=2 when b < 0 ? Or was that experimental

no it only said that C cant be in the first or last positions. Besides, even if it said E can’t be in the first position, then the answer will be 3 since you can still have BECAD as well

Im 100% confident that it said C and E (I even underlined and confirmed with my friend). And no, it would only be 2: BECAD and CADEB. I’m not trying to prove you guys wrong… I already have a perfect in math so another one isn’t my concern.

THE ABCDE question was the easiest one, it was four, stop arguing.

A is in btwn C and D
B is Next to E
C isn’t 1st or 5th

BECAD
EBCAD
DACEB
DACBE

Wait what was the question with the x^3y = 27 and X^y = ?

and then what is the question where A twice B and twice C and then twice D?

I ommitted one (time concerns), but I’m pretty sure I got the rest of them right. Could I still make an 800?

Also got “t,” not “t^2” Reasonably sure on that one.

It was

A is in btwn C and D
B is Next to E
C AND E arent 1st or 5th

Which rules out two of your answers (did you even read what I wrote… )

the x^3y was 3 cuz u just do both sides to the 1/3 power to get 3. Also there were 54 men who bought clothes at the department store.

@000ooo0000o- Answer was 3
@Swag- (6,3) is correct. Slope was, indeed, 1/2.

It said only C couldn’t be first or last. Not everyone in this thread could have overlooked that, especially not on these forums. I think due to a couple tricky problems math curve might actually be -1=790! Maybe im just hoping it will be since I missed one.

Anyone got like mode,median,and average were all the same for one of the questions?

It was like 2,3,4,5,6,6,7,8,9,10,11 which i’m preety sure was the exact numbering for that question xD

an another question was were abs value of (x) and abs value(y) is less than 6

it asked which set of numbers satisfied this rule?

I got I, cause all the others has things like (-6,0) or (5,-1)

YES!!! and (I think I got 54…)

What about the last one in one of the sections where it had a table and asked for g(b) = f(b) + 2 what was the answer for that

the numbers were 2,3,4,5,6,6,6,7,8,9,10
avg, median, and mode are all 6
@000ooo
i got -3? i think
