SAT January 2012 (Paleontology, film adaptations, cameras in courtrooms passages)

does anyone know the answer to the last sentence completion of the first section

i felt the camera in courtroom passage was difficult…anyone know the answers for that passage?

I hope the sawmill passage isn’t experimental…

Hey, guys. This test was the same as the March 2010 SAT. Apparently, even though most people in that discussion agreed that the CR sections were relatively difficult, the curve was ridiculously harsh. 59/60 = 700

Here’s goodbye to another shot at a 700. Gosh!

And the sawmill passage was the experimental section, btw.

oh man…that is bad news

was it march 2010 or may 2010??

junaid123: I’m sorry, but that’s bull****. There would never be such a massive jump in scaling. In the past, EVERY curve has been 800 for 67/67 and 66/67, with the harder tests curving even 64/67 to 800. In addition, it would NEVER drop by more than 20 points, the maximum drop would be from 800->780, and this is rare. Usually it follows something like 800->790->780->…->510->510->510->500 etc.

You sir are simply FEAR MONGERING and TROLLING and I am only responding in a plea that no one listens to you.

it was march 2010… these are the answers,

and these are the scores of those who took it:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/895510-march-2010-sat-results.html</a></p>

now both of you sod it… :P

God… Now I think i screwed up… CR SUCKS!!!

Doesn’t feel bad that we are taking the US’s used past sh#t?! seriously?! They find it unfair… so do I! I mean it’s not like we know the answers beforehand either! bah!

I read through that. All of those results were posted before people received their full score reports so the info about the curve was all speculation.

look at there scores genius… these are their scores… and YOU speculate to your heart’s content… it’s just a rough estimate of what you might get that’s all… and look at their answers… that’s the important thing

this thread is the important one:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/880456-march-sat-cr-thread-6.html</a></p>

who cares about stupid curve now… check ur answers while u remember! and on the other thread u’ll find a lot of ppl saying that the “Consolidated answers” were indeed pretty accurate as they got within the range of their mistakes.
