@IMauriuolo: that was not experimental; answer was 6.

I don’t remember the scissors question. Is that the one we count 20 scissors, each represents 400 something, then they ask the total one?

yep 10char

Oh yeah! the answer with 27/8 (3.375), could i have put 3.38?

oh so why is it 1600/ i thought 20x400= 8000?

no it was the average, so you add up the number of scissors and divide by the number of days (i think 5) then multiply by 400.

can anyone answer my question? x^2=81 y^2=16 find k when x^2-y^2=(something)/k

yeah is 3.38 an acceptable answer for 27/8?

@yoman91: answer was 12

WAIT

(x^2-y^2)=(x-y)k or /k ??

My bad, I thought you were talking about the other question with k. That one should be 13?

Yes I got 13 too but yoman scared me by saying it was divided by k and not multiplied

So far im -1

because on that rectangle square cutout problem I forgot to square my hyp and subtracted 5 and not 50

should have realized that my answer made no physical sense haha

it’s okay i’m -1 also because I didn’t get the slope = 0 one haha facepalm

so what is the estimate score for a -1 or 2?

760 - 790 I’d guess.

I’m -1 as of now too. I messed up the “directly proportional” problem with the (y-1) (x+1). I put 10 instead of 9… haha stupid mistake.

Do you guys think -1 will still be a 790? I’m really hoping it’s not a particularly brutal curve…

was the directly proportional a fill in?

Yeah, it was the last grid-in question.

what was the question?

does anyone remember any other grid-in questions…i feel like i had to rush to get them finished…
