SAT Oct 2017 discussion thread

@eh1234 and @Momma2018 my D is the same. Says scores are in. But they are not…

It says scores are available but I don’t see anything. This is painful.

Are they posting the scores throughout the entire day? Because the ACT usually stops posting after 3 AM or something like that. Is there a time during the day where they stop posting?

No scores in NY yet…

If the scores aren’t released today, will we have to wait until Monday at the earliest or might scores go in over the weekend?

No scores for CA yet either… seems like they usually get in earlier than this, but then again, it’s only 7:44 am here

Anyone who has received their scores, how many questions did you get wrong and what was your score?

I have a few friends who have gotten their scores, but the vast majority of the people at my school haven’t received their scores

@jahowyu Did they take them at the same test center? If so, I don’t understand the way the College Board is releasing them.

I just contacted the CB and was told that most test scores will be released today. Some scores may be delayed in those areas where the hurricanes hit and there were makeup tests given. The other scores are being released in waves throughout today.

@TTdd16 No, they went to different locations. I believe that the room you took it in also plays into it, like if your room reported a problem you would receive your score later.

@KES2022 Any information on how the waves are decided? Is it alphabetical, state, etc…

@KES2022 Thank you! I hope that turns out to be the case–kids having to wait (and refresh constantly) until the 26th would be awful.

Got scores in NY state. They were there about an hour ago, but the email saying they were in didn’t come until this minute.

Can you get scores on weekends??

@macktheknife how many did you get wrong in each section?

I got a 1540! (750 r/w and 790 m)
I got 4 questions wrong on reading, 2 questions wrong on writing, and 3 questions wrong on the math section.

edit: I had a 70 point increase (original score was 1470) and I’m from NJ

@EmZoWe why did your score increase?

Anyone from SC get their scores?

@EmZoWe Seems like the math curve was generous this time
