SAT POlicies for the Ivies?

Do they take your highest score from each section, from different sittings, or your highest test in one sitting?

Check their Web sites...they likely have that info there. If not, you can email or call admissions. They'll tell you.

most are 1 sitting.

places like stanford = your highest

Actually, most ivies are highest combination.

all ivies are highest combination.

Actually, what I have heard is that ALL colleges(barring a few unknown) accept the Highest combination.

The most common exceptions to the "highest combination" are schools in the University of California system and the University of Texas at Austin - they will only consider your highest single sitting score. I think there are a couple of privates that do the same, but I don't remember who they are.

Oh so I guess what "I heard" was sort of inaccurate. Anyways thanks tanman.

hey guys what about Northwestern, Boston University, Penn State and Rutgers can someone give me thier policies???????????

Why don't you check up on their site.

Penn state only looks at the best sitting, doesn't look at highest combined.

and PSU doesnt look at writing
