hey zspot- for the x and y math problem, was the right answer E?

i had that essay to (took the test in london)...I talked about the patriot act, hitler and 1950's germany. I took up a thesis that we do not conform under nature, but society forces us to (if we dont confrom we are either shot or get locked away)

dont know if this was correct, but meah its over now....

hmm.. everybody seems to have had different test..

did anyone have a question asking the number of candy box combination or something? I put 5 for that..

and also i had 4 math section.. none of the questions mentioned in this thread is recognizable..

sunnyboy- i had all those questions except the 2nd one with the cars and colors. You are right with 1 and 4 but I believe the one with the books is 18. If J donated 3 more than double the books A donated, then 18 X 2 + 3 = 39 books. So the answer is 18.

Did you have an open ended question with findng the lowest ratio of 3, 17, 100 in which the sum would be a perfect square or something like that? I'm hoping that one was experimental.

marble question was 4 ounces.. thats what everyone else said

think of it this way.
2m + 4s = 6m + 3s. Plug in m = 2, so
4 + 4s = 12 + 3s. Simplify
s = 8

i had no idea how to do that problem, but i guessed 3! did you have 2 open ended math sections?

i keep hearing bout open ended sections and im amazed.. i dont know even know wt open ended means.. cud some1 care to explain??

i thought it was misleading/remonstrance instead of wrongheaded/chicanery

i guess i got that one wrong

yes i had an opended candy box question and i took it on the east coast. The question

was you have red green black marbles. Not sure about colors

The green marbles are 1 more than the red and the black marbles are three times more than the green. i forgot what they were asking specifically

If you have two openended math section( the ones where you fill in the 4 bubbles for the answer one of them is experimental. A one to test you.

The answer to the marble quest. was 8 and the books question was 12. If you got 18 for the books it was because you forgot to add A to 2A+3, that would be the total amount of books. You forgot about what A brings herself.

For the books the questions is asking how many the girl donated

so 12 books +24 for the guy = 36+3 = 39

Does anybody remember what the last question was to that marble and book section

it was either the palabora with a vertex at 5,-4 or it was the one with the sum of 3, 17, 100 ratio of perfect square. hopefully it was in the section that didn't count and hopefully the 3, 17, 100 section doesn't count

ummm do you guys know the question

if a number is in X, it is also in Y.

it was the 2nd math section #17 i believe

anyone know the answer to that one? I put A as a guess after crossing off B and D as completely incorrect. In hindsight, after spending 5 minutes on this problem i determined the answers were all incorrect. Lol, spent 5 minutes and couldnt solve it

what was the question for the remonstrance sent completion does anyone remember

yeah and i feel so stupid for putting down 1982.... there goes my 800.
i was looking back at that problem and thought something was fishy... but didnt recognize it

Maybe on of your math multiple choice was an experimental then..Evidently Collegeboard really wanted to make us feel clueless on this month's test.

yeah i had two grid in sections on the jan SAT. The harder one wasnt experimental..... i was pretty mad i think i got like 4 wrong in it

Did anyone get 2 math grid-ins? If so, I hope the first was an experimental because it seemed ridiculously harder than the 2nd.
