Sat Reasoning June 06 - Post All Discussions HERE!

for the version of the test with 2 grid-ins, did anyone get "not enough information" for the math problems (i think it had to do with the median of like 50 numbers between 60 and 70 or something)

Yeah that's what I got. Which one was it in?

no idea. maybe the second mc section?

Hopefully it was the right answer lol.

That's what I and a bunch of my friends answered. You need to know the values and their orders to be able to determine M.

Good. I was really unsure, because I know in my prep class the instructor told us repeatedly that "not enough info" is ALWAYS the wrong answer. I guess not.

yeah the answer was 1/8 i started to solve it and said *** am i doing with such an easy question and moved on. Not enough info is correct that time although it is a bit rare.

to approximate the mean or whatever they asked you for you have to have all the values for each of the people

I got four math sections, but only one grid-in...does anyone know which one was experimental?

what was the question? I think I got an answer for that one

The answer was wrongheaded...chicanery!

damn!! I had that and then I changed it... sigh yet another question missed on the CR

when are the June scores going to be out???????
the CB website says 26th June but it also says (tentative date)
will what happened in May happen in June too??? :(:(:(:(:(:(:(

How do people know section 2 was experimental??? Is that definite because it's not posted on CB yet

yes it's definite. the CB website says so...

Anyone know the answer to the question in post # 1072

A verbal test must have 67 questions and Section 9 must count. So since Section 9 had 19 questions your Sections 2 and 5 with a total of 48 questions counted. Section 6 did NOT count. You should be able to confirm this on the CollegeBoard website today or tomorrow.

The East Coast and the West Coast did have different essay topics.

There were two different versions of the test. Both versions were evenly distributed across the USA!

I have some questions about the math sections. I had the test with 4 writing sections.

When they gave you a big pentagon and told you that one of the values was 120 degrees so the opposite was 240 and they asked you to find x.

so it was 180(5-2) = 540

so like 540-240-like another- another

what was the answer

and for some question I got 14 by 2+3+9 i think it was some marbles or something can anyone confirm what questions cause im nervous and think this problem might be wrong. What exactly was the problem asking for. the problem had there were red, green, black the green had 1 more than the red and the black were 3 times more than the green.
So at first try 1+2+6= 9 and that didnt work and the other was 2+3+9 which gave you 14. Does anyone know what problem im talking about?

Edit; I think they were asking which possibility makes the number divisible by 2?

Blah..I bet all of you I am going to get the worst SAT score in the whole CC community.

Oh well, I am only in 9th grade so hopefully I will be able to pull it up a lot before 12th grade..

Well I am leaving for Las Vegas today..I should be back in two weeks so bye everyone.

1079 post!!!!! you'd think it was the end of the world. it's just a test!!!

I wonder whats the largest SAT thread in the history of CC, i think this one might beat it.
