SAT retake? - 2200

M:720
CR:800
W:680 <-

Should I retake for financial aid/ merit scholarships?
GPA: 3.6 UW, 4.7 W (darned electives -_-)
Colleges (and Reaches): - Tufts, Carnegie Mellon, Trinity College, etc.

I would say yes just because you could definitely increase your writing showing you are capable from your previous score and also it wouldn’t really hurt to try.

Yes, most students take the SAT 2-3 times.

HOW DID YOU GET AN 800 IN CR!? tell me pleassssssssssssssssssssssssse!=)

Ummm, no. Stop bragging now.

Yes, especially if you only took it once. You can bring up W!

I would if others from your school have similar grades and scores as you. People tend to forget that top colleges can’t take a million kids from each high school, no matter how qualified they are.

If not, it’s really a matter of whether you believe the rest of your application is good enough with “only” a 2200

If you have the $50 it can’t hurt

Few care about the writing - you are a 1520/1600! No need to retake, but no harm either.

It never hurts to try again you should do it.
