Should I retake a 2200 SAT?

I'm an international student and I have taken the November 2nd SAT. It's my first time and here's the outcome:

710 CR
780 M
710 W

Total: 2200.

I mean, my GPA is 9.1/10 and in my school, because of the extreme rigor, this is by far the top GPA among 12th graders (the 10 scale is used in my country). I have volunteered a lot for both poor people and the environment, organized a number of events and clubs, been class representative for 3 years, etc. I also got a second prize in the National Academic Contest last year.

I'm aiming for schools like Colgate, Grinnell and Tufts, so do I need to take the SAT again?

No. Not unless you really want to waste another Saturday.

That’s really encouraging I have to say  do you think that’s a safe score for the schools I’ve chosen? I’m really anxious these days

That is a great score for most schools even many top schools. Unless you are aiming at the very top schools, you don’t need to retake it. If you are a senior you don’t have much time for retake anyway. You better focus on the application.

Also consider that unless you have substantial time to prep before retaking the test, your score could as easily go down as up.

You will not be rejected from any school based on a score of 2200.

At all but a handful of schools, your 2200 will impress the adcoms. 2200 is in the top 25% for Colgate and Grinnell and close to it for Tufts.

It sounds like the other parts of your app are solid. The only reason I would even consider taking the test again would be for scholarship considerations.

Save your $100, enjoy your Saturday mornings and skip the test prep cramming.

I don’t think you have to.
Best of luck!

Moreover, you do have a good distribution of section scores.
