SAT Score Choice and Test-Taking

So I'm a sophmore right now and I'm signed up to take the SAT in June next year. As of now, my scores seem to be peaking at around 2250-2300. I know that once I get into this range, only a few questions here and there are keeping me from achieving the gasp perfect score. Therefore, I feel that if I were to take the SAT many times, I would eventually get a "good" test and may get lucky and thus, get 2350+ (which would be possible if I got like 1 more in math and a few more in reading/writing).

So I am considering taking the SAT before June (but I'm not canceling the June one). However, if I were to do that, I will have already taken the SAT TWICE before I'm even a junior. I know many people are saying 3-4 times is max but with the score choice policy, does this even matter anymore?

If not, I am planning on taking the SAT at least 2 more times and as a senior (4 times). Add in my sophomore year, and I will have taken the SAT at least 6 times. Should I worry about this too much? I'm really afraid that somewhere on the official sat score report sent to colleges, there will be a statistic "Times Taken: x".

btw: is there anyway to order an official score report for yourself (like official ones)

Sorry for the length of the post. Thanks in advance.

luckily you're class of 2011. starting with class of 2010, students can choose which SATs scores they want to send to schools.

right now, colleges can see your past history of all SATs taken. but for you, all you have to do is report your highest.

Yes I know about Score Choice.

So it shouldn't matter if I take the SAT 6+ times?

^I believe private schools still want to see all the tests you've taken, especially Ivies.

^and what if u fail to do that?
will u be penalized?

I've never heard what yummymango said. This policy is so new that I doubt any school has expressed definitive opinions on it; people are probably just speculating. You'll likely be able to just submit the tests that you want them to see.

ANYWAYS, HELL YEAH AHS!!! :)

Awesome practice test scores, mang. Good luck.

I think some schools have said they want to see all your ACT scores, so I assume that would be true of SAT scores too.
