SAT second time advice

I just got my SAT november scores. I got 2170 (750 CR, 730 M, 690 W). That stupid 9 essay...anyways I thought i prepped very well beforehand and took a SAT program during summer as well but did not achieve my goal of 2300+

I am extremely worried about retaking the SAT again in January because I feel as though I already studied to the best of my abilities. Also I am afriad my CR will go down. My "dream schools" are UCLA and UCSD and UCs dont superscore :(

Any tips to do well the second time around? I feel my weakest spot is writing which oddly most people say is the easiest to improve any tips for that? I feel as though the majority the writing questions that I miss are not S-V agreement, parallel structure, etc. but Idomatic expression (i.e. enriched by/with). How can I master that?

Thank you so much I know the majority of on CC are supergeniuses so if you could provide some advice I would be super grateful.

Also what do you guys think would be a moderately competitive SAT score at UCLA and UCSD?

BUMPPPPPpppppp

I took the november sat as well and that “enriched by/with” question was correct as it was, no error. either form is correct. Your scores are way beyond the 75th percentile for UCSD and slightly above the 75th at UCLA, which means you have a competitive score for either school.
