What are the best books & materials to help me increase my SAT grade?
My scores:
Math: 570
Writing: 630
Reading: 540
I really need to increase my scores for the October SAT! It is vital! Please help me! Thank you.
The most you can do is get the blue book, get wordsmart by PR for vocab, and self study math. Do the first few practice tests untimed, then move to time restraints. Identify your problem areas and capitalize off them so you don’t get stuck.
@michelle426 Thank you for your tips, I truly appreciate it. And please note that the reason why I joined this online organization was to find answers to my important questions. There is no maximum posting limit. I am the oldest child in my family, first going off to college, and I need lots of help. And College Confidential seemed extremely helpful. Blue Book for overall practice tests, Princeton Review PSAT for a great vocab list/definitions, and just reading books in general to develop a sense of grammatical correctness that will make the writing section much easier.
