So I just received the scores for my two SAT Subject tests and was wondering if they are considered good scores:

Literature: 700
U.S. History:730

They're OK. Bear in mind that the averages on SAT 2's are higher than on SAT reasoning sections. I'd say this-they won't wow them, but they won't raise any red flags.

check the 25 and 75%ole of duke's sat scores to see
Other then that I agree with^

US Hist. is ok, but i would suggest raising that Literature score.

How about mine?

Biology-M: 780
Mathematics II: 700

I was very upset with the Math II score, since I know they’re supposed to be ridiculously high and abnormally curved. Will it be a problem, do you think?

Actually, your math score is also good (in addition to your amazing bio. score)

The averages for all subject tests (other than some of the languages) is around mid-500 and 600. So, your scores are really good!

What about mine? haha

I’d definitely echo what anhtimmy said above about checking the 25 to 75th percentile scores. Beyond that I’d just add that 700+ on any of the subject tests is definitely good enough for an application because it shows you have a decent understanding of the subjects.

I would advise against taking the subject tests too many times; do something more productive/fruitful with the time you would spend studying for and taking the test.
