SCEA Countdown Thread to December 15

Good news from Alaska: Two out of the two Columbia ED-ers I know got in. If you’re from an underrepresented state, there may be hope.

Alternatively, it may just be the ED admissions boost.

I wish I was from Alaska. :frowning:
Haha.

Lucky me…

5 days, 17 hours to go.

Don’t they have no sales tax too? Ughhh those lucky Alaskans -__-

On the other hand, they have Sarah Palin, so I guess it kind of evens out.

LOL.
Have you seen any clips from her new reality show? Hilarious.

5 days. 5 days. 5 days… x_X

now would be a great time for a 5 day nyquil induced nap (i hate having a cold :frowning: ).

I seriously don’t know what I’m going to do with myself these next 5 days. Now that I’m done with the semester and have a lot of free time, they’re going to pass by soooo slowly.

@fruitsalad: Yes! I feel like I don’t want to do anything until I read the decision. It would be nice just to relax. Unfortunately I have exams today, Monday, and Tuesday. Great timing.

The Columbia thread is the scariest thing ever.

nne718 you’re done with your semester? Lucky! I have three tests tomorrow (OK technically it’s today…) and then finals next week. It’s inhuman.

Oh, God. I was directed to one clip by PETA… you can imagine. Basically Bristol and Mommy Dearest were on a fishing boat fishing for halibut or something. So when the fish get on the boat all flopping, Bristol kills them by knocking their brains out with this iron rod thing basically. She’s like, “It felt good to get my aggression out.” Then S. Palin TOOK OUT A HEART from one of the halibut that was still beating and was like, “This is weird.” It was AWFUL.

Now, now, we’re not all like that up here. I don’t think Bristol Palin is particularly interested in Yale.

With that said, you do kill fish (yes, fish, not “sea kittens”) by beating them. Otherwise you lose them. Anyway, fishing beats mining.

Go see the last few pages of the Columbia thread guys! Lots more acceptees. My theory is that they were so busy celebrating they took more time to post their results. And the Columbia thread is a lotttt less intimidating than HYPS’s regular decisions ones, as well as Yale’s SCEA one.

Since stanford decisions came out early, any possibility that yale will too?

^ Don’t think so.

Whoaaaaa just found out about that. Looks like my friend will be finding out his decision earlier than expected…

Penn’s ED thread is a lot more comforting than Columbia’s was

Nothing against Alaska–just, you know, the particular Palin clan…

OK but did Bristol really have to be like, “It felt good to get my aggression out?” Couldn’t she have more respect… IDK. It was pretty awful for me to see but I guess my feathers get ruffled sort of easily.

So a girl from my school just found out she got into Stanford EA. This makes me infintely more anxious. Which is saying something, because I was already breaking into a sweat whenever I thought about it. :/

How are Stanford’s decisions coming out before Yale? I thought they were both supposed to be Dec 15. Does this mean Yale might be releasing decisions before Wed as well?
