Nice double entendre lol.

Nice double entendre lol.

^Yeah he seems to be missing a rather crucial comma

I LOVE MY MACBOOK PRO Just sayin’

is everybody aware of the fact the decisions are LESS than a week away!!! I am literally shacking…

I don’t know what that looks like, but it sounds quite disturbing

O_o

Not SHACKING!
Oh gosh, I heard about that… you start seizing and your skin begins to burn, and then… so terrible…

Haha jk.

Hmmm… I’m the other way around. I dress like a hipster (mild hipster, nothing LATFH.com-worthy, thank God) but I don’t really think like one. I don’t think so, at least. D:

Also. Columbia thread. Terrifying. Holy crap. Let’s hope there’s nowhere near as much red and yellow in five days…

FIVE DAYS FIVE DAYS FIVE DAYS

mm sperry’s are the best! and fhsfds did you girlfriend get into Columbia?

I think the whole hipster thing sounds really good minus the facial hair…

^ Nope. She got straight up rejected. Which is scary, because she’s higher ranked and has higher scores than me, and presumably Yale SCEA is more competitive than Columbia ED… :/

shiiiiiii* i’m sorry all we can do it wait… and like Columbia accepts a lot more international and minority students than Yale… so like the whole being hooked or not thing might matter less

That’s really scary.
May God help us all.

So who else is totally freaked out after looking at the Columbia thread? Yikessss. Very, very few acceptances.
And I thought Yale SCEA was more competitive than Columbia ED.

Being the hipster minded person I am, I’m not particularly religious. I’m leaning towards Buddhism though, if I’m hard pressed to pick a religion.

You are not a hipster if you affiliate with hipsterdom.
Anyways, blah Columbia thread is scary. But Columbia saw a huge rise in ED applications whereas Yale saw a slight drop in SCEA ones. Also, since it’s ED, adcoms have to be entirely sure about someone to accept them, since that person has to go. I think nonbinding schools have more wiggle room for who they can accept.

Or is my logic completely flawed?
Regardless, AHHH SIX DAYS.

May we all receive the news we’re meant to receive, then.
In all honesty, if I don’t get accepted to Yale, I’ll just have an easier decision to make come the end of this year.

I live in CT currently and it’s freaking COLD right now.
I’ve come to the realization after today’s weather (coupled with the fact that my safeties are in Florida and California) that as much as I hope I’m accepted to Yale, it’s all gonna be groovy no matter what.

Fee Waiver Approved! (finally)
Now im nervous!!!

join the expanding club ^ :)

I submitted my other apps when I sent in my Yale one… I figured if I do get into Yale I still want to have my other option due to how financial aid goes and whatnot

Yes. I had to go to the Cornell one to calm myself down. Of course, according to rankings Columbia>Cornell. And, Yale>Columbia… Please let our thread look like Cornell’s and not Columbia’s!!!

Whatever. I’m gonna go with it, cuz it’s better than believing the alternative!
