schedule advice sigh

Next quarter, I was planning to take:

Chem 14B
LS 2
Comm 10
Anatomy

I know it sounds like a lot, but the circumstances are...I'm taking Physiology right now with Cooper, and I wanted to take LS 2 with him next quarter because this girl who's also in the Nursing BSN program took it with him before, and she said it's basically the same material, and Cooper even uses mostly the same notes. Plus, it'd be fresh in my mind so hopefully, I wouldn't have to work so hard. Also, I'd be taking Anatomy through UCLA Extension (which is what I'm doing with Physio right now...nursing people set it up for us), which means there will only be the 40-something nursing students in the class...so possibly, the curve/competition wouldn't be that high.

The nursing department advisor, however, strongly suggests against this...she says it'll be too hard, and that Chem 14B should be taken before LS 2.

What should I do?

Enroll in all of the courses anyway. Hold back on purchasing your LS2 book until you have a good idea of what the course demands. Figure out if you can handle that (after comparing syllabi, amount of class effort needed, etc.) Make the appropriate decision. Either way, you will still be a full-time student, which is important.

Exactly as Emmeline suggests. If worse comes to worst, you just drop a class.

don't do comm 10 unless you: A- want to be a comm major for sure, or B- need it for something else. it's a notorious weeder class and only a verrry small percentage get As. it's not worth the time and effort if you don't absolutely need it for something.

just fyi.
