If you are trying to get into Kelley, you should not be taking these classes:

A200 – won’t help you get into Kelley at all, and can’t be applied to business major; it can only be applied to the business minor. If you might want to get into Kelley, take BUS A100.

CMLT-C 110 Writing the World (3 cr.). This class may not work for Kelley as a substitute for W131 or W170. If you might be trying to get into Kelley, take W131 or W170. C110 is not listed in Kelley’s most recent bulletin (March 2011) as fulfilling the English Composition requirement. <a href=“Redirect Notice”>Redirect Notice;

ascs- q 11:15- 12: 30 no teacher given – any ascs class is worthless (except for internships done for credit) for Kelley. All Kelley students take X220 and X420 as their career classes.

K201, M118, and P101 are all ok if you are trying to get into Kelley.

I have 3 of the same classes, not the same days.

CMLT works for Kelley, my academic adviser told me it does work. I triple checked about that. It replaces the one on the site. We do more reading novels and etc than the other classes.

And, just need to fulfill the required classes and maintain all Bs and no B-'s to get in. If you maintain all B’s you are automatically admitted. So just make sure you have that and the required classes. Adviser told me so. So, if you are not comfortable taking Calc first year go Bus-X, general business admin. Make sure to keep those B’s and you will be ok.

And a computer program sorts out all the people who do not have anything lower than a B-, so relax. You will be fine. CC has a tendency to make you over-achieve and take way harder classes than you should. Your goal first year should be to get into kelley, make new friends, and enjoy life. Not take the hardest course to prove yourself to CC, get a C or B- and possibly not get into kelley.
