I guess I could simply do the introductory biology in spring then? Does anyone know the specific name of the introductory Biology course(s) for CALS students?

I think you are taking one too many class. five classes of substance is too many for a first semester, especially when one is Mandarin.
do you need to take calculus II also? if not I would leave calculus till the spring semester.

I don’t believe you’ll have enough credits in order to take the classes you’ve listed above. I’m not sure about CALS, but in Arts & Sciences, freshmen are restricted to 18 credit units in the fall.

Are you an AEM major? Just asking bc if you have to be a freshman AEM major to take AEM 1101. And if you are an AEM freshman, then you need to take Intro to Business Mgmt in the Fall also - AEM 1200 - it’s ONLY open to freshmen AEM majors who are ALL required to take it - your advisor will pre-enroll you in it if you are.

you’d be taking bio 1109 i’m assuming for non-majors. 1109 is only offered in the fall and it is a prereq for 1110, which is only offered in the spring. option: hold out for some more interesting bio class like “invasions” or “hollywood bio” if you’re not a sciences major and can use one of those classes to fulfill the bio req for CALS. this option would free up some time if you’re really gung ho about taking mandarin.

Intro bio is another 3 credits, and this is way too much for one semester. (I took 17 credits during the fall and that was more than many of my friends.)
