Schedule recommendation?

I’m a junior taking 2 APs and 1 Honors right now. So next year I wanted to not slack off much.

AP Government/Economy -Required for me

AP Literature -Required

AP Physics

AP Calculus B/C -Required for me

Piano 2/Advance -Required for me

AP Statistics -Many say its the EASIEST AP class… And I had some easy AP classes.

Want: Teacher’s Aid, Computer Science C++

But, my piano teacher offered me to be his TA, and he said he’ll pay me, plus since I’ll be in the piano room its a good chance for me to improve at piano and the free time I’ll have for AP homework.

Basically I can only drop AP Physics and AP Stats. But I took normal physics this year - seems kind of a waste not to get an AP science. And AP stats is the easiest AP class, which is pretty sweet and looks pretty good for another AP class.

What do you guys think I should do? Would taking a TA period look bad to colleges? I don’t want to get ignored by a college simply cause I took an easy class, cause my GPA is only around a 3.5 unweighted, and I want to get to UCLA. I want to take Computer Science too, but not sure if it would be worth it to drop another AP.

Thoughts on what I should do?

Hahahahahaha, you’re going to kill yourself! If you want to get into UCLA honestly, don’t bother. UC’s don’t even look at your senior year grades.

How is he going to kill himself? Stats and Gov are jokes. BC isn’t too much work. Physics and Lit are the only hard classes.

Why would you accept money from a teacher? That’s really strange. The choice is obvious… if you really want to be a TA or do C++, drop Stats.

Lol, dunno, he just said “You should be my TA, I give out giftcards/money every so often.” Apparently he doesn’t believe students working for him without getting paid.,.

Is it true that UCs dont look at senior grades? So becoming a TA wouldn’t affect me much?

UC’s do look at your senior class schedule. Also, if you have a quarter system at your high school (as I did this past year) you will be able to enter final grades for the first quarter, which they look at,even if it’s not in your GPA.

Sorry if I came off as rude in my other post. I didn’t mean to be. I suppose you can say I’m just bitter because my grades aren’t exactly up to par either.

The only thing is it’s very difficult to start to apply yourself once you have started to drift off.

Drop AP Stat since you have Calc BC already.

Drop Physics. Because it’s hard. Replace it with an easy AP, like Psychology.

mys schedule is same except I’m taking AP Environemental Scince and I’m not taking AP Calc is my schedule good enough for USC?
