classes i'm taking this fall:
chem 1a (4 units) w Stacy
comparative lit R1A (4 units) w Inciarte
poli sci 2 (4 units) w Price
sociology 1 (4 units) w Swidler

is this a manageable workload? do you think i can squeeze in a 1 unit seminar or is this enough already?

oh by the way i'm premed/public health or socio major

Seminar? Are you already enrolled? If not, there's almost no chance that you are getting into one this late in Phase II.

Hi, I'm entering in the fall as well. I hope you can read fast, because I hear pol sci 2 has a lot of reading and i'm pretty sure comparative literature would be at least some one heavy on reading just because it's literature. You'll probably be reading a lot for sociology too, but maybe you'll get a teacher who just goes through it all in lecture. You should get the names of all your teachers, and go to ratemyprofessors.com to see how much work they assign. Also, I would check which books you have to buy for these classes (especially literature) to see if you've read any of them before. If you've read a lot of them before, it'll be an easier class. But in the end, it all depends on how smart you are and how willing you are to not have a life outside of school.

all these posts about courseload make me feel better about having above the 13-14 units recommended for freshmen XD

PoliSci 2 with Price is the easiest class EVER, I have all the books if anyone wants them for cheap and I can tell you what the class is all about. PM Me.
