Can I be in both the Honors Program and the Scholars Program?
You cannot initially enroll in both programs as an incoming freshman. The Scholars Program accepts only incoming freshmen who will begin their studies at Ohio State’s Columbus campus during the autumn quarter. Incoming freshmen who meet the criteria for the Honors Program are not eligible to apply to the Scholars Program.

<p>Just out of curiosity, why cant you apply to be in the scholars program if you are eligible for honors? Does everyone who meets honors requirements get into the honors college? bc i meet honors requirements but i would have rather just applied to the international affairs scholars program if its not a guarenteed thing that ill be accepted into the honors college and it seems weird that if you can get into the invitation only section that you cannot even apply for the extra-application bit.</p>

<p>They’re separate programs, & they like to keep them from overlapping for whatever reasons. Probably so more people get the chance to be in the scholars program.</p>

<p>If you meet the honors requirements, you’ll get into the honors college.</p>
