What are my chances or getting a scholarship to a good, 4 year college with these statistics:

ACT Composite score: 27

English: 27

Mathematics: 26

Reading: 26

Science: 29

Ap Chemistry exam score: 4

I live in Alabama, and I plan on going to college and majoring in chemical engineering. I have taken the ACT twice with a 27 on both exams, but i plan on taking the ACT again in June. I went up in English and Science the second time i took the ACT but my i was rushed during the reading portion of the exam and because of that my reading went down by 3 points.

What are my chances of getting a partial and full scholarship to a major 4 year university?

Some guaranteed scholarships at Bama:
[In-State Scholarships - Undergraduate Scholarships - The University of Alabama](http://scholarships.ua.edu/types/in_state.html)

$1,500 per year with a 27.
$3,500 per year with a 28-29.
Full in-state tuition for a 30-36 (a reason to study!!).

All require a 3.5GPA as well though.

Maybe consider taking the SAT as well, as that can also qualify you for scholarships.

Bama is highly ranked nationally, and pretty solid for engineering (they just built some new engineering facility). The engineering department can also award leadership scholarships, if you have any leadership under your belt (when you apply as an engineer, you’re automatically considered).

There’s a huuge list if you’d like to browse through it. Just google “Guaranteed scholarships”, it will be the first link. For some reason the link gets blocked on this site.

If you plan on majoring in chem e, you probably want a 5…

That’s not helpful at all. Doesn’t even matter if he takes gen chem again, as most do.

also you might wanna try the SAT, as the ACT isn’t for everyone.
