I filled out that exact form when declaring residency in the app. Are you saying I need to fill it out again?

fayth thanks! Filled it out and hit submit. I hope it isn’t attached to your application…lol

For those of you still waiting for scholarships, don’t despair! My daughter received a Pegasus Gold yesterday. My daughter applied and got accepted in November. BTW - We had done the residency form on line and did not have to send in any additional paperwork. I’m told that they are still working through all the admitted students for scholarships.

lkidby: no Problem. Lol i don’t think it is, I didn’t have to sign into myUCF or anything.
ProblemOfChoice: I would just in case it didn’t process correctly the first time

My daughter just received a letter asking her to apply to the LEAD program. What is that? Wish it had been a scholarship letter instead…lol. Seeing everyone else’s stats, I am doubtful that she will get one. We are OOS so she really needs one to attend.

For those who are still waiting to hear about a scholarship, my son just declined his Provost Scholarship today (since he will be attending an out of state college) so his award is back in the “kitty”.

I’ll take it if he doesn’t want it, lol ^

I know this an older thread but I was wondering if any of those waiting on scholarships ever got them? Because I’m pretty sure I qualify for at least the bronze pegasus scholarship and I’m getting a little bit worried now. I applied and got accepted in November with a 4.5 gpa, and a 28 ACT score.

^ I’d like to know too, I’m getting tired of waiting.

^^

As each day passes, your chances at any academic based financial aid diminish significantly thus Id strongly suggest that you contact the school and initial an inquiry if you qualify for any financial assistance.

Don’t give up on scholarships yet, I just got a notification about mine today. (I applied mid november)

Really? That’s great!!! What were your stats?!

GPA 3.6/4.2 (weighted)
1420/2120 SAT
34 ACT
out of state :)

oohh!! good for you! do u mind me asking if you contacted them, or just patiently waited? I believe my daughter qualifies for one, but we have heard nothing. What did they offer you? We are OOS too.

thanks! well I waited from december until about a week ago, then I sent an email to financial aid asking when to expect to hear back about scholarships. All they said was to complete the FAFSA by march and that the office of undergrad admissions would notify me if i met the requirements for an academic scholarship. But… a day or two later the scholarship appeared on myUCF, so I’d say email them - it can’t hurt. I got the Knight’s Achievement scholarship.

Do you mind sharing how much that is??? And what is your major?

You have very impressive stats…I haven’t heard of that scholarship. I’ve heard of Pegasus Gold and Bronze but not that one.

Haven’t gotten the letter in the mail yet, so I’m not sure about the exact amount. Technical theatre (BFA) major :)

Thanks!

Also, on your other post I saw that your daughter is thinking of being a theatre major. In the theatre department, for out of state students they offer an out of state tuition waiver. That might be something to ask about when she’s visiting.

Thanks for answering my questions!! Congrats again!!

My son - OOS - received a letter today from UCF informing him that he had been awarded the “Knight’s Achievement Award for Non-Florida Residents” - it’s a total of $40,000 for 4 years.
