A. Yes. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit ONLY.</p>

A. No. Your scholarship may only be used toward tuition.</p>
<p>Q. Is it possible to upgrade my scholarship after I start attending the UM?
A. Once a scholarship award is finalized, it cannot be increased. Therefore, No.</p>
<p>Q. If I do not receive a scholarship as an incoming student, can I qualify for these in subsequent years?
A. No. Scholarships are offered only to incoming students.</p>
<p>FYI- scholarships are automatically offered for 2 years; after that, students have to apply for renewal. (3.0+)</p>
