<p>I received the call today announcing that I'm a finalist for one of UCLA's alumni scholarships. I was wondering if any current Alumni Scholars who are part of the program can shed more light upon what exactly the program entails. Or anyone for that matter. And what to expect from the interview. Please and thank you!</p>

They give out 250 scholarships… but I’m not sure how many people are finalists.

<p>UCLA has a highly structured interview process. You are asked a set of predetermined questions and your answers are timed. The questions are chosen from a question data bank and may include your goals, aspirations, extracurricular activities, opinions about current events, or opinions about social issues.</p>
