Hi, I am going to be an incoming freshman at LSU. I got a 29 on the ACT when I first took it. Apparently, if you get a 30 or higher composite, you can do research by participating in the Chancellor's Student Aide Program. If I take it again over the summer or in September during freshman year and if I score 30 or higher composite, will I be able to participate in the Chancellor's Student Aide Program?

You need to ask LSU - it’s unlikely anyone else can give you a definitive answer.

Ask them.

I would be surprised if a score attained after you start college would qualify you. My daughter did increase her scholarship at her school by retaking it in the May before she started college. In her case that was the last ACT date they would accept. Only your school can tell you for sure.
