<p>Has anyone heard about scholarships yet? I am really anxious to find out! If you do hear...be sure to post your stats and award on here...for all of us anxiously waiting in hopeful anticipation.</p>

<p>I checked the website and they said scholarship info is sent out the first week in april.</p>
<p>I got mine today!</p>
<p>$12,000 total and my general stats are as follows: 28 ACT, 4.3 weighted, 3.9 unweighted, 7 APs, 18 college credits from a local college, leadership in county and statewide student council positions, sports, etc.</p>
<p>The scholarship brought Syracuse into the running of "reasonable" schools but I'm not set on going or anything.</p>

3.9uw, 1240sat, top 5%, 11 su college creds,spend time between several club leadership positions and working parttime, won poetry contest, published an article, to highlight a few.
Since I'm also enrolled in the Syracuse's program in combination with the scholarship, I should have to pay little to nothing for the college if I decided to go. But unfortunately it's too close to home.</p>

<p>Did you all apply for these scholarships or do they just review everyone? All my college apps are starting to run together, and I can't remember if I did a scholarship app for Syracuse! This month is going to be the end of me.</p>

<p>just scholarships. and no, you do not have to apply for scholarships, they use your application as a scholarship app too.</p>

<p>Got notification on the dean's scholarship yesterday. 6k per year. Thank God. I also have a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship (community college honor society) for 2k per year. I'm a transfer from a community college, and my stats are just a 4.0 GPA after 31 credit hours of college work. I really want to go, but I need to see what other forms of financial aid are going to be given to me. I got into Newhouse, BTW.</p>

<p>I've received my financial package today. In addition to the outside scholarship that I won, i just have to pay <3k per year to attend SU. I'm agonizing over a possible 40-60k loan to attend this college i really love or <12k loan for all four years.</p>
<p>I'm going to have to pay around $22,000 to attend. :( My fin. aid package sucked like anything.</p>

<p>My daughter just got Founders Scholar which is $12,000/year, plus got into Honors College. Have not yet received the financial aid package. This was a lovely honor that we did not know about and was especially sweet as she is in the hospital no less.</p>

<p>I got Founders Scholarship as well, which was a nice surprise yesterday as I was freaking out about colleges for no particular reason. ( I think its when I get too much time to think) That definitely pushed Syracuse up on my list a bit :) I also got into honors. </p>
<p>Anovice, may your letter just didn't come yet, because that does seem strange.</p>
