<p>I'm pretty disappointed I didn't get the Gold National Scholarship.</p>
<p>They dont come out til the end of March, according to the school.</p>
<p>I recently got an email from <a href=“mailto:helpingu@umn.edu”>helpingu@umn.edu</a> about a “Scholarship Notification,” asking me to check my eFAAN. I can’t access it though. My FAFSA results though indicate I may receive a Pell Grant.</p>

<p>Yeah, I just got the Maroon National Scholarship today. I was pretty surprised at this. It seems they take their time giving out scholarships. This definitely re-sparked my interest in Minnesota.</p>

<p>I got the gold national scholarship back in January, but today i just got a private scholarship award of $3000 for the CSOM =D . Hopefully theres more coming, but wow Minnesota is so cheap! i love it! lol</p>

<p>I had received the Maroon National Scholarship. I was surprised because I had mediocre stats (SAT: 1310/1780, GPA: 3.5, top 25% in class).</p>
<p>1320/1960, 29 ACT, 4.1 GPA, top 10%, extra curriculars etc lol</p>
<p>im wondering why i havent recieved anything yet. weird.
33 ACT, 4.4 GPA, top 12% (i would be top 10 total, but the schools ranking system is messed up, ap and honors are weighted equally) and tons of EC’s. so im a little confused. and worried, i really need the scholarship. but im also in Florida, so im hoping its just taking a while to get here?! =/</p>

<p>I FINALLY got my Gold National Scholarship - they decided to wait til i was on my official campus tour an give it to me themselves. Scared me, but hey, it was worth it in the long run =D</p>
<p>so to my understanding most acceptees should have received their financial aid statement. I got a couple of scholarships (1000 & 2500) neither of which seem to belong to the “gold national scholarship”…</p>
<p>did others who receive the gold national have the 12k exempted from their finaid paper statement?
also… if you check your online finaid status (<a href=“http://onestop.umn.edu/external/financial_aid_status[/url]”>http://onestop.umn.edu/external/financial_aid_status</a>) does yours display a message – "The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Financial Aid Awards cannot be viewed until late March, 2010. " – too? it’s already pretty late march…</p>
<p>I got in contact with a woman who deals with the Gold National Scholarship (the one for Out-of-State students) and apparently she had sent my letter out on March 11th… So I did get it

<p>I had talked to one of the financial aid counselors, and apparently the eFAAS will be sent beginning on April 1st.</p>
