Scholarships with Acceptance

<p>Hey everyone! I was one of the lucky applicants to recieve a Dean’s Scholarship with my acceptance letter, but I have some questions:

  1. It says it is an award of AT LEAST $10,000. How/when will I know exactly how much I am getting?</p>

<li><p>I really need a lot more than $10,000 to afford Fordham, so I was hoping for a Presidential Scholarship. Do they give those out at acceptance time too or will I find out about that later?</p></li>
<li><p>When do I find out about need based aid?</p></li>

<p>u find out about need based aid when they mail out RD letters, but u gotta file ur FAFSA and CSS Profile on time</p>

<p>I think they give most of it out at acceptance time (although I did somewhere about someone that got merit aid months after being accepted). It's unlikely that your merit aid offer will increase, but make sure you do your FAFSA and CSS Profile.</p>
