I am calling after class today around 2:40 PST. Probably a Thursday afternoon. I know they have an admitted student over night weekend, but I was hoping to get an individual one before that probably like late march.

I live in Los Angeles so I have to go when I don’t have school. I will visit most likely in the first week of April on a Thursday. I haven’t called them to confirm the individual visit yet though.

Just got off the phone, I should be visiting Next week sometime.

Speaking of scholarships, I got admitted this past Friday with a Provost Scholarship? It’s a total of $76,000 ($19,000 for four years). Did anyone else get this??

wait!!!
you can go to uc berkeley if u go to mills?!?!?!?!??!?!!?!?

You cant “go” to UC Berkeley. You can cross register to take courses at UC Berkeley along with a bunch of other colleges (private and public). Its like being enrolled at Laney College and taking a class at College of Alameda.

I will post my experience after I do my over night visit in a few weeks.

Pistachio, I didn’t get the Provost scholarship but I got the Faculty scholarship which totals up to $72,000. You got more money than me! haha :)

Did any of you guys get the Mills magazine in the mail? I skimmed through it, and there are some interesting articles. The reason why I think the articles in this publication are so monumental are because for the FIRST time, I have been sent something NOT from their admissions department so the intent of the magazine is to inform current students and alumni, rather than persuade perspective students.

It’s worth a look if you received it, there are some interesting budget articles.

I got the magazine too. The articles are great! I was also surprised that it isn’t from the admissions office.

Wow, congratulations nickygurl! Haha it’s not about quantity, it’s about quality are you highly considering Mills now?

What other schools have you guys applied to?

Yeah, I also received the magazine. They have some really interesting articles, I was also surprised that it wasn’t sent from admissions. I guess it’s their way of saying “we’re still interested in you, and hope you’re interested in us!” Haha!

Thanks Pistachio! Yeah, I’m seriously considering attending Mills, but I’m still waiting to hear back from other schools I applied to.

And coldharbour, I also applied to SDSU (accepted), UCLA, UCSB, UCSD, UCB, and UCD.

i wish i had applied to ucb, there is always grad school though.

Hey,
I applied as a transfer student and am wondering how I know that admissions received my application along with all the supplement forms. Will they send me an email? Or do I just have to wait until I am either admitted or not?

Sorry this is off topic…

You should call them. I think they sent me a letter in the mail stating that they had received it. I would call in the afternoon before 4:30, you will get a staff member instead of a student that way.

Did anyone else received an email today about FA Awards? The email gave me access to their portal where I could view my whole Package. Exciting!

Wow the FA packages are out already? It said on the website March 31! Hahaha I hope I get one.

Congrats though coldharbour :)
