Has anyone who received scholarship looked to see if it came up online?

I got a call from OSU about a month or so after I was admitted, and it was just a current student congratulating me on getting in and saying how great it was that I was considering OSU.

They emailed me again (after the 3-4 weeks thing) telling me that they made a mistake and merit aid was just starting to get released at the beginning of January. I don’t think we should worry just yet

Are any of you guys still waiting? Got a letter from them today and got REALLY excited but it turned out to just be my PSEO schedule for the spring semester.

I’m still waiting!

I’m still waiting. I just got a “happy new year” ad from them in the mail today so I think I’m receiving mail late or there’s some delay…

I got the Happy New Year thing today as well.

Yeah I got that two days ago!

My son called today to ask about scholarships and they said they will be sending letters at the end of this month. I hope so.

Are there any scholarship or financial aid (federal or university) opportunities for freshmen applying for the spring session? I am an out of state student willing to apply for spring 14 session and desperately need financial aids to study at OSU.

Ugh, still waiting on scholarships. I talked to Coach Smerdin at a NAC in December and he said I would have a better chance at getting the National Buckeye and some other awards seeing as I filled out the fencing questionnaire. Hoping that’s true.

Oh my! I am so happy that I am not that only one still waiting for scholarships. I received my acceptance November 15 and each time I read someone received a scholarship my hopes slowly sunk! I’m out of state, and based on the website and the net price calculator I qualify for a couple scholarships. Ohio state is my number one choice, and I hope I get a scholarship. Miami U, Ohio U, and Pace U have all sent me scholarships but I just want to hear from OSU! Good luck to everyone else

Has anyone that has received scholarships looked to see if it is listed under your financial aid on your OSU page?

We’ve been told the same thing…end of the month. Our son meets the “posted criteria” for the Buckeye Merit and other merit scholarships. The criteria to meet the posted minimum has gone up the last few years as I assume OSU gets a better applicant base.

Does anyone know of accepted students, who meet the scoring numbers, and NOT getting the merit offers?

Got a letter in the mail today: Provost Scholarship, $3000 a year for four years, a total of $12,000.
I’ve got a 29 ACT, 3.8 UW GPA, and I’m in the top 15%.

Awesome, my NC territory manager said stuff should be coming in the mail soon but not to worry if it doesn’t.

offthewall1979- does it show up under you financial aid on your buckeye account?

I just checked now and it’s not online. Not sure if/when it will show up.

My D got received her information today. She received the Provost and National Buckeye Scholarships.

Congratulations. We will be checking the mail!
