Well, only time will tell! I know they are having snow right now

Still waiting in San Diego…at least weather is nice

Still waiting, no e-mail back.
I’m in Ohio and can attest to the horrible weather. I live an hour away and we got 5+ inches of snow. The county main campus is in was in a Level 2 snow emergency at one time.

Ahh glad to see I’m not the only one still waiting! I’ll only be in the south for a few more days, then it’s back into the snow for me :(

Called the office, they said scholarship information would be going out starting after the new year!

Got an e-mail back today:

Hey, Sara!

Thank you for contacting Ohio State! Award letters for our merit-based scholarships are typically sent several weeks after a student has been admitted to the university regardless of whether or not they have paid their acceptance fee, so do not be alarmed just yet if you have yet to hear anything. You will also receive a financial aid package in mid-March that details all of the scholarships you have received as well as any federal grants or loans you were awarded by way of the FAFSA but can expect notice of any scholarships prior to receiving that package. I encourage you to also consider completing our application for special scholarships in the meantime. The deadline for that application is February 15th.

Please let us know if you have further questions!

EDIT: Just realized you posted, imperio. That’s much more informative than the e-mail I got! :)

I think yours is informative as well! I believe it’s going out in around the same order that the acceptances went out… When were you accepted?

Status changed online about six weeks ago, November 15.

Makes sense! Got mine november 19th or so

I was accepted in august and still haven’t gotten any scholarship notifications. Sadface.

I sent them another e-mail:

Is there any way I could call the admissions office or get in contact with someone that could possibly let me know what scholarships I will be receiving?

And they said:

You can contact an admissions counselor by calling (614) 292-3980 between the hours of 8am and 5pm EST, Monday through Friday.

So maybe you can call and see if they can look up your scholarship info.

Interesting…

I just met with the admissions counselors in person today and they were no help. the only thing they told me was stuff I could look up online myself. They have no way of knowing until you get the final information in the mail!

Thanks for sharing that with us, now I don’t have to waste a call! :)

I also talked to the Financial Aid people while i was there and they were even less help. Guess we will just have to wait it out. They said it could take until mid-February or March before we know. If you know a name of someone higher up let me know and I can try to contact them.

They are sending out scholarship notices. Son received his Maximus notice today. A friend’s son also received his notice today.

I received maximus scholarship today! When do I hear about honors/scholars program?

Thanks for sharing the fact that you all received scholarship information already. I am an admit that has not yet heard about scholarships. I believe I was admitted during the first wave of decision releases, in late november.

Yeah I got admitted early November, in the same boat

Well someone from Ohio State called my house last Saturday but the number was restricted and my brother said I wasn’t home and OSU said they would call back. Not sure what the call was for but keeping my hopes up that they will call back
