<p>You can still get top scholarships even if school doesn’t rank…the case for at least two that posted earlier in the thread</p>
<p>My dd’s school does not rank and she still got the Maximus - but I do believe that her school will release the rank to colleges that need it for scholarship requirements. I am not sure if she is really in the top 3% or not but tOSU knows her school (in state) and knows how competitive it is - she is definitely in the top 5% but question top 3%.</p>

<p>For those of you who just received the national buckeye scholarship, what are you act scores/acceptance dates? The admissions counselor I talked to said it was based on a combination of time accepted and scores. I just want to see where I am at so I know how long I have to wait!</p>

There are clear criteria for each scholarship described (and is exact as they appear on school material we received).</p>
<p>Brownpartyo5 that is not what I’m asking about. I already know the criteria and meet it. What I mean is that I’m trying I figure out when I can expect to receive a letter or if my time has already passed. The admissions counselor I talked to said it like this: if you let’s say, has a 36 in act and got accepted 2 months ago you are more likely to find out sooner than someone who got accepted a week ago with a 28.
So I’m just wondering everyone’s general act score and when they were accepted.</p>

<p>Just got scholarship information in the mail today. I received the Provost Scholarship as well as the National Buckeye Scholarship. The chances I attend Ohio State just increased significantly.</p>

DS was accepted 11/16 ACT 34 unweighted gpa 3.895 rank top 11%- missed 10 cutoff :(</p>
