Hi I just received my acceptance however I was expecting scholarship money. It didn’t say anything about any type of scholarship. I’m OOS 3.77 Weighted GPA and 1290 new Sat
Will I find out later about scholarships? Am I ruled out of scholarships completely?
Some acceptance letters mention “at least” amounts but many don’t. Final scholarship/financial aid offers come out in March. Look at scholarship tab in admissions - http://www.sc.edu/about/offices_and_divisions/undergraduate_admissions/tuition_scholarships/scholarships/nonresidents/index.php
You can look at each scholarship and see what the general stats were for the awards last year. (There is also information somewhere on admissions about rSAT and how used but I didnt read that.) Remember that USC doesn’t tie scholarships directly to certain numbers, as in every 1300 SAT will get $XXX, so these are only general.
So, no, not ruled out for scholarship and yes you will find out later.
