School District Education

I have recently been reading some discussions on here where a person asks others about the schools others have applied to and the ones they have been accepted to, along with their GPA’s and SAT test scores. Most of the students that wrote down their SAT Reasoning and Subject Test scores had perfect or near perfect scores as if it were normal. I am currently a senior at a high school in LAUSD and I believe the average SAT test score is a 1500. There was a student who received a 1660 on their first try and the majority of us were pretty impressed. So I was wondering if the average SAT score is around the same in different districts across the nation/globe? If not, around what is it in your guys’ school or district? Does the school district simply provide us with bad education? Let me know what you guys think.

according to http://professionals.collegeboard.com/testing/sat-reasoning/scores/averages
"Average scores are calculated annually based on the most recent SAT scores of all students of a particular graduating class.

For the class of 2013, average scores are:

Critical reading:497
Mathematics: 513
Writing: 487"

but CC’s standards can be around 2200+ (just kidding). Just do your best in standardized tests. Look for which colleges you want to go and see their SAT averages, then try to achieve it.
