<p>I have submitted my application for about five days but I haven't received any confirmation email from the school and my teacher said that my forms haven't been downloaded yet. My classmates told me that it's usually take only two days to confirm. Should I call the school or wait? Does it usually take a long time for the school to download your application and send you an email with an ID?</p>
<p>You cannot see the download date for the application or supplement, but for the recommendation and school report. For the latter parts, I have seen schools that take over a week before downloading. Some school may just do a weekly download until it is getting close to the deadline. I have also seen one school that did not download the school report for 2 weeks until 2 days before EA deadline.</p>
<p>If your school doesn’t use Naviance, you can go to the My Colleges section of your common app account and look in Assign Recommenders to see if they’ve downloaded your recs. If that part is done, most likely the whole app has been downloaded. </p>
<p>It’s really not a problem to follow up directly with the school, if you are concerned. Just pick up the phone and ask.</p>
