So I just found out that my counselor is an offline user to the common app. Therefore, I have to print the school form, have him fill them out, and then send them in by mail. However, we are on break just like everyone else, and there's no way for me to get a hold of him. There's no possible way for me to get the forms in by that time. I'm applying for tisch undergrad drama. I have the common application and the supplements completed, but the school forms are all I need. Will NYU understand and give me more time? or should I just terminate my application all together?

last year my counselor’s rec didn’t get submitted until january 18 and it was fine for me. don’t terminate your app; i think they know that a lot of schools are on break

Another way is to find a teacher who’s been keeping touch with Common App for a long time and have him/her e-mail the Common App that you’ll be submitting the school forms late for your reason. Then they will insert a message in your app package that your forms will be delayed. Don’t get too stressed out!
