So when I looked up the school I'm transferring to on pick-a-prof, basically all of the classes had no statistics. Does that basically mean that pick-a-prof is useless for this school? Why doesn't pick-a-prof have that much information for this particular school, but is loaded with info for all the other schools (including the one I'm attending right now, UT-Austin)? Is it basically because these schools are more competitive, bigger, what?

Maybe that school is using a different website. Pick-a-prof only has statistics on 4 colleges in all of PA, for example. Some schools use ratemyprofessor.com and a few schools have their completely own website (the University of Pennsylvania has the Penn Course Review, Bryn Mawr and Haverford have the Disguide etc)

Students at my small LAC school do not use any of these websites. I think the main reason is that students know many of the professors (since there aren't very many of them), and if you don't know, you can usually ask a couple friends and get a good answer.

Some already mentioned ratemyprof, which is your best bet. However, as I understand it, Myspace now has this functionality too, and can thus be of some use if you're willing to subject yourself to using that monstrosity of a website.
