Guy or girl?

Girl. ^

I really need to work a bit more on it. I've been gaining weight lately.
I have my excuses. None are decent enough though to actually use.
I wish I could make it to the local Y to go swimming and run on the treadmills.

I never exercise and everything is A-OK. ~_~

You have to eat less if you exercise less. Not that I would know, since I have a fairly trusty metabolism. But I walk a lot, since I live about a mile away from a good coffee shop and I go there all the time (my mom doesn't give me rides since it's that close). So that's like 6 miles a week. That's really about it, so I just eat less. It's about finding a balance for you. You know how much you have to cut back meals when you exercise less, and you know what size you feel happiest at. If it's not a size 2 or 4 but you're still happy and healthy, you may have to deal with your mother more than your exercise habits.

^ I need to due to anxiety issues. It's an outlet.

QED...you running 6:30 is fast, a guy running 6:30 is low-mediocre at best (with lies).

I still can't run under an 8:00. My mile at the beginning of the year I timed was 10:00. That was sad.

^ lulz I'm a dood and would probably get like a 9 minute mile if I was trying. Stop hurtin my self esteem yo.

http://www.fpycsports.com/Running%20-%20One-Mile%20Run-Walk%20for%20Boys.htm

I swim five days a week for two hours. Basically, I used to always skip when I had a lot of work but then I rememberd I need to keep my priorities straight. Health > A's. I mean really, if I die of a heart attack at age 35, I probably won't get that much accomplished anyway and my stupid college degree will have meant nothing. I eat so much junk though which is horrible for me and I really need to stop.

See, according to Moodrets' link, I'm at 80% percentile - 15 years old and 6:30.

Considering that the majority don't care about running, and how Obese America is, and how low their standards are, I'd say 80% is pretty bad.

but how accurate is that link, it seems to be a school-only link or something...but either way all my friends are at least at 6:30 (who are half-decently fit, not the other 1/2 obese dudes), and most I know are under 5:45ish.

Oh well.

Oh dayum, all i have is volleyball training and dance class once a week. :P I'm totally out of shape because although I'm average weight, barely any of it is muscle. Lol

@Invoyable
What are you repping with those weights lol?
Cause that's a huge max in comparison to the weight you are using.
And 1 rep max calculators are not accurate, depending on the person some will be able to do more, less or around the same.

I think anywhere from 6~12+, I started with low weight high reps, and now I'm at the mediocre range; slowly moving up to low reps high weight.

1rm is bs, I agree...I'm not even exactly sure if I calculated it right. I could actually bench/squat/dead more than the stats there, but it's because of the reps. If it was truly low reps, my numbers will be much higher.

Wrestling practice 5 times a week for roughly two and a half hours and tournaments on Saturdays make sure that I stay in shape. My diet on Sun-Thurs is Powerbar for breakfast, PB+J for lunch, and Lean Cuisine for dinner. Usually I will have about 10 oz of water and some sort of snack with lunch and two lbs of water and a snack after practice. On Fri, I don't really eat much at all (varies but normally two powerbars and some water). On Sat, I binge eat. The whole week I am taking multivitamins and b vitamins to make sure that my body gets the essentials.

Sometimes I have to run to make sure I am on weight, but that is rare. When I do run, I go about four miles at a good pace (whatever 8 songs is on a three days grace album is).

Anyone who says they don't have time to exercise is wrong. When I really had to lose weight, I would wake up at 5 in the morning to run 3 miles and then run another 3 miles at night. I hate running, but I do it because the alternative (missing weight) sucks.

With school and driver's ed and stuff, working out can suck. It's too dark to run outside past 4 PM, so I run around 3 PM on school days and around 9 AM on weekends (I do HIIT 3 days a week), and then lift weights 3x a week.

Just cut down on junk food and work out when you can.

Haha, high metabolism is a gift from god. I would be so disgustingly obese if I didnt have retardedly fast metab or didn't swim everyday... Its so great to sit around eating through a box of cheesits and for some reason stay lean.

I got a pretty high metabolism too, but I still have some fat on me I want to get rid of. :(

Invoyable....most people lie about their mile times. I have many friends who claim to be able to run a mile in 5:xx but in reality are unable to do so. I also get the occasional person saying they ran 4:xx on a treadmill...unfortunately for them treadmill is easier(as you aren't generating any forward momentum)

A lot of students I'm in class with lie about their mile.
Honestly, in the PE classes here, lying about it's worthless since your time as long as it's under 15 minutes doesn't hurt you.
