Schools that only require one letter of teacher recommendation

Will sending more than one letter of recommendation be good?

Say I only send one letter of teacher recommendation but that one letter is absolutely stellar… would that be considered less than two “outstanding” recs? So basically, does it matter how many recs I send?

I’m basically talking about schools that only require one rec like USC or Notre Dame.

It is perfectly fine to send one rec if that is what the school asks for.

D sent at least 2, sometimes 3 (she had 3 because one school wanted 3), to any school that would take them. Her feeling was that another angle couldn’t hurt and the teachers had written the recs already so it was not extra work for them.

But i agree sending one is perfectly fine.
