Hi,
I’m looking into different options at the moment. I’m going to be a new junior this coming school year, so I definitely have some time to do some more research before applications. However, could anyone recommend some schools with good undergrad nursing programs? I keep on coming across the same ones as I look online. (UNC Chapel Hill, Boston College, UMass at Amherst, Binghamton, UCLA, UPenn, and Georgetown) I would definitely like to have some other options to look into as well. Not to say any of those schools are bad; I would just like to see if there are any other good schools that I haven’t come across in my research yet.
Michigan
Are you looking for direct entry programs also?
Sounds like your budget is $55-65,000 a year?
I have two nieces studying nursing and my wife’s aunt was a nursing educator and front line trauma nurse in the Korean War.
My nieces are at University of Scranton and St. Anselm College. My aunt was heavily involved in helping them separate the wheat from the chaff.
My advice is pick the states you want to be in and review the NCLEX first time pass rates. In many cases “prestige” schools don’t fare well in preparing their students.
^^^ Good advice.
A lot of the state schools have really kept up with the times and have amazing sim hospitals and the works.
