SCI Comptuer Delay!!! ARGH

<p>So I ordered my SCI 13" prettyful white MacBook way back on July 5th. They told me it would ship on or before July 14. Ok, I can wait that long. So i'm waiting, waiting, the 14th rolls around and i'm getting excited to see a shipping confirmation or something... then I get an e-mail telling me that my order has been delayed to on or before July 26th. :( Makes me very sad.</p>

<p>I'm dying a little inside - call me a geek/nerd/whatnot, but I'm really looking foward to getting this comptuer!! I'm making the big PC/MAC switch, and I want sufficient time to acquaint myself with the Mac system before heading off to Pton on the 2nd (yay for OA).</p>

<p>Has this happened to anyone else?</p>

<p>I ordered straight from the Apple Store, and when I got my tracking confirmation number, it showed an "unexpected delay" or something...and nonetheless arrived in four days. I wouldn't worry about it.
Even if it does come late, the Mac switch is startlingly easy. I promise it won't take more than twenty minutes to get the basics down.</p>

<p>Oh jeez, Apple has been a nightmare for me. I ordered a Macbook through SCI and it had a problem so i had to get it replaced. The next one showed up in a week, but it had worse issues. Now i am waiting for my third one and i am in exactly the same boat as TheaterGirl62.
I hope it gets here soon.... :-(</p>

<p>my mac arrived within 5 business days as well w/ no problems but that was june. i don't know.</p>

<p>There's probably a delay because you're buying close to Back to School time. I bought my Mac in June and it came in about 5 business days also.</p>

<p>How long after the shipping date does the actual computer come to your actual house? I live in VA, so if my Apple is shipped July 28...?</p>
