I'm making my junior schedule in approximately one month and I'm pretty set on all the courses I want to take. Except science.

I am an overall pretty good student in regards to science, I got a solid A in biology freshman year and currently am doing fairly well chemistry honors (have around a 92 or 93). I am divided over what science course I should take next year. I have narrowed it down to three choices:

AP Biology-I do not plan on majoring in science in college, but I am interested in biology and feel I would do well.

AP Environmental Science-a generally easier science course, but I would definitely benefit from given my interest in the environment.

Research in Molecular Genetics-the topic of molecular genetics is also very interesting to me.

For any of you with experience in any of these subjects, do you think you could help me?

Note: No AP Chemistry or AP Physics. I know I would not do well in either, I accept my limitations.

Depends - I’m in AP Environmental, and sometimes I wish I had taken AP Bio, just because APES can be almost too easy (I know that doesn’t sound like it makes sense) - but sometimes its a struggle to take an AP class seriously when you’re getting an A+ in it and you actually haven’t touched your textbook in two months…

But I do love Environmental Science in general - I’m considering Environmental Law (or Criminal Law) - so I thought an interdisciplinary science like APES would be perfect… Easy A, but a joke nonetheless.

@preamble1776 That is why I may be taking AP Environmental Science. It looks good on applications because it is an AP class and will be a GPA booster (especially with me taking difficult courses next year such as PreCalc and Spanish IV Honors). I love environmental science too and know that I would benefit from it.

Aww Am I going to be the only who’s going to suggest Research inMolecular Genetics? It sounds very interesting. But, OP, if you want AP credit do Bio.
