Science Program

^Really bad compared to other top 10 LACs like Williams?

No. The science programs at Midd are quite good and are getting better. The college invested a lot of money in Bicentennial Hall and the high-end equipment inside, and this investment is paying dividends.

Grad school placements? Midd doesnt seem to disclose the grad school placements of its science grads.. can i know them?

I do know that their science building is home to the largest window in Vermont.

my daughter is a freshman and took the honors Chemistry class (107). Her teacher is organizing a schedule so that during January term the kids can rotate through the different professors doing research to see where they want assist professors and to do their research. That means my FRESHMAN daughter gets to do some research now! This opportunity this early is unheard of anywhere else.

What are you interested in? Bio? Physics? Chem?

Physics.. I know most LACs are strong in chem and bio.. but not Physics.. How about Midd?...

The window comment is completely true. I give tours and we only tell true things.

I'm a bio major but the physics program is good. Second largest facility dedicated to science in New England with lots of brand-new resources and a high professor-student ratio.
