I was accepted in late October and I haven't received any scholarships in the mail yet. I've noticed on the threads that many people get their scholarship notifications very soon after they get their acceptance packet. Is this a sign that I might not get any? Or do I still need to be more patient?

I believe most of the scholarship notice will be out in March. Those received scholarships already are mostly National Merit Semifinalist or very top candidates. You should also receive an e-mail telling you to fill a short survey for eligible scholarships. You just need to check a few boxes on the web and you are done for the application.

AlexWitt - my son had perfect scores and stats and did not receive his scholarship info until the very end. His late arriving, though extremely generous merit scholarships, ended up with us only owing $1500 a year. Sweet!

It can be frustrating to wait when you learn that others are finding out ahead of you. Hang in there.

Thanks you for the replies!

So are most of the notices sent out in March? Or will most candidates receive their notification by March?

Most of the notices are sent out in March. It really depends on who is giving the scholarship to you. For instance, I had a departmental scholarship that I didn’t learn about until really early April I believe.

But you will know the most important financial information in March.
