<p>I have a few questions regarding transportation. Last year, I lived close enough to walk everywhere so I'm not too familiar with the bus system. This year I will be living in Lexington Crossing, but I will be working at the College of Health and Health Professionals on Center Drive, and I don't believe a bus goes from Lexington to there. For this reason and others I am considering buying a used scooter, however I want to buy it from an actual dealer and I'm not exactly sure what store would be best. I would greatly appreciate any responses in regards to if I can do it without a scooter or, if not, which store would be best. </p>

<p>If you get a scooter just be aware of everyone around you. I got stuck behind this annoying guy going 5 mph. And im just learning to drive my stick and i literally had to stop and put into first so many times because of that guy… hills arnt fun.</p>
<p>It really depends on what you want. Scooters are very nice to have if you want to get to class quick, get home quick, etc. I had a motorcycle for 3 years and sold it my 4th year to get rid of all distractions. I loathed everytime that I had to get on the bus. I wasted an hour a day riding the bus, but it got me there and it was free so like I said just a personal choice. </p>
<p>I don’t know what your budget is, but I would HIGHLY recommend that you stay away from the scooter shops and the junk Chinese scooters. You are much better off buying a used, Honda, Yamaha, Schwinn, Vespa. They cost more but they will save you major headaches down the road. Being mechanically inclined I was the go to guy when someones scooter broke down and I can tell you that you don’t want to deal with the hassle of one of the cheap scooters from the shops.</p>
